Unlike the other boards tested, the SATA performance on the MSI does not hit a consistent ~218-219MB/s. It's not slow at 206MB/s, but it does represent a six per cent drop in performance.

USB performance tops the board however, with a very slight edge ahead by .1MB/s. The bigger picture is that it's consistent with the other 785G boards tested.
